Semi-protected edit request on 4 May 2018

Change his status from "Married" to "Single and ready to mingle" Giorgioreyes (talk) 19:40, 4 May 2018 (UTC)

Not done: the article does not say he is married, and "single and ready to mingle" is not encyclopedic. NiciVampireHeart 20:19, 4 May 2018 (UTC)

Change in Bio

Gallows publicly requested at the 1:03:40 mark of this Talk is Jericho Podcast https://omny.fm/shows/talk-is-jericho/tij-ep451-tns-sobernyc-fullshow for his bio to say "Single and Ready to Mingle" Rjwalsh215 (talk) 22:50, 30 April 2018 (UTC)

Not done: not helpful to include in an encyclopedic article. NiciVampireHeart 23:02, 30 April 2018 (UTC)
Comment: @Rjwalsh215: Wikipedia already shows that Luke got divorced in 2017. Spouse(s) Amber O'Neil (m. 2014; div. 2017). However Google still show him as just married. I would suggest clicking feedback at the bottom of the infobox on the right, and clicking edit on the spouses part and stating that they got divorced in 2017 per the Wikipedia page / references — IVORK Discuss 23:06, 30 April 2018 (UTC)

is this kane clone going to be like the fake undertaker or is it realy meant to be kanes evil side

He is supposed to be the memory of May 19th and attacks Kane when he thinks of the date in question. He is currently not on WWE.com RAW roster but is appearing on RAW on a weekly basis so it may come on in the near future--Racer38 14:55, 13 June 2006 (UTC)

Age ?

i find it too hard to believe this guys is born in 1983. I can't prove it but some on he is a balding old man and he was the imposter Kane years ago, someone please fix this Krayziegunts (talk) 06:39, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

Unforunately, the only sources I can find that have his bithdate verify December 22, 1983. ♥NiciVampireHeart12:52, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

The impostor Kane gimmick was only in 2006, when he was 23. That's his real age--he just went bald at a young age.Spookymilk (talk) 14:51, 6 July 2008 (UTC)

Or he shaves his head? I don't believe it either sorry but it can't be true. Kalajan (talk) 20:46, 4 November 2008 (UTC) Drew was born in 1983; I grow up with him and played high school football together. Drew was going bold at the age of 17. Drew played center in football and has always loved the WWE! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 138.64.2.76 (talk) 19:43, 18 February 2009 (UTC)

Replacement?

I as well as my brother believe that Drew may be a replacement for Glen Jacobs if he really is going to retire next year. This may be their reasoning for bringing him into the picture and having him have the mask on or they may just be working their way up to having Glen put on the mask again which maye explain why he wasn't on Raw last week. They may be working out his new storyline as we speak.

Well, Jacobs wasn't on Raw the last two weeks because he's been in Italy and other countries promoting See No Evil. But that may be a spin that the creative team puts on the situation.

Still though, Jacobs has said in an interview that after he retires he's going to pass the torch to Drew.

Details

According to a recent 'Talk is Jericho' Podcast, Gallows "is single and ready to mingle."

Well he has a child. Just born this year! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.98.208.203 (talk) 01:59, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

Height

All sources provided in the article point to his height being 6'7", but some anon keeps making it 6'9". Kane is listed at 6'9", and, as you could see when Drew portrayed the Imposter Kane, he was shorter than Kane. James Duggan 23:43, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

Yeah, he's about 6'7. Son of Kong

Smackdown!

As recently reported on Rajah.com, Hankinson will make his debut as the Freakin' Deacon on Smackdown! so I added it to his profile. Son of Kong

ummm someone changed his wrestling facts to bite me. tis tisk on vandals

Justice Dalton?

You cannot be sure, that he really uses that name in OVW. This information is based on Fan Reports written by one and the same person and could just be a mis-hearing of "Festus". It wouldn't be the first mistake from these reports. You should wait until the name is mentioned on the official site. EDIT: As I expected, he's called Festus in OVW, too. No Justice.

Name

Hey, ever since the promos started airing for Jesse and Festus the last name Dalton was not mentioned at all. When Jesse introduces Festus he says "My Partner" not "brother" or "cousin" or anything like that. Another thing that proves they arent related other than actually watching and paying attention is that on last nights episode of Smackdown, Jesse said he isn't Mr. Mchmahon's son but Festus could be. This downplays that Jesse and Festus are family.

Mental Retardation?

I understand that his character has quite the mental quirk, but is it really fair to say that he's playing a mentally retarded character? I'm surprised no one else has brought this up, or is it just given that comparing him to others with serious mental handicaps isn't offensive? Giovnni (talk) 04:50, 24 June 2008 (UTC)

He is not mentally retarded. He has portrayed many gimmicks in the past, and none of them showed signs of him being legitimately retarded. –LAX 04:53, 24 June 2008 (UTC)

New Gimmick "Luke Gallows"

On the 27/11/09 Drew Hankinson returned to WWE with his new gimmick Luke Gallows. Apparently he is a patient that CM Punk helped cure of Drugs from his old gimmick Festus. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.217.109.112 (talk) 14:14, 28 November 2009 (UTC)

Is it possible the image could be changed? Drew is no longer Festus and arguably is better known now for being Luke Gallows. If anyone has a free-to-use image of Drew in his Luke Gallows persona, it would suit the article much better. Captain Alaric (talk) 20:26, 11 April 2010 (UTC)

Vandalism

Of all pages to vandalize someone chose this one? I guess I can see one side as no one will see it so it doesn't get changed.... On the other hand noone is going to see it. Well this is the line I removed. " Thomas N. Randolph IV is known as the biggest fan and aspires to be a wrestler one day and have the same legacy as these named above wrestlers (Ranoldph 2010)" 199.245.32.210 (talk) 18:33, 18 January 2011 (UTC)

Orphaned references in Drew Hankinson

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Drew Hankinson's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "TNA":

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 06:09, 20 October 2012 (UTC)

DOC ... not D.O.C.

Just noticed an edit changing his current name from DOC to D.O.C. Yes, it's obvious its a reference to the initials of his title "Director Of Chaos", but it's pronounced DOC not D O C. Additionally, without a more reputable source, I think we should assume Impact Wrestling's own website knows best. MrZoolook (talk) 04:48, 19 November 2012 (UTC)

Drew HankinsonDoc Gallows – Hankinson used many names in the past (festus, luke gallows, doc and Doc Gallows). However, I think Doc Gallows became the common name. He spent three years as Doc Gallows in NJPW, the second largest promotion in the world. He wrestled in 3 Wrestle Kingdom events (the japanese Wrestlemania). He is in The Bullet Club, won the IWGP Tag Team Titles 3 times (one reign is one-year long) and the World Tag League. He gained more exposure and succes in NJPW. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 20:22, 4 January 2016 (UTC) Relisted. Jenks24 (talk) 12:38, 12 January 2016 (UTC)

  • Support - Doc Gallows is more commonly used in RS. I typically like to use the subject's real name as the page title, with a redirect, but because Doc Gallows is used overwhelming more, we should move the page. Meatsgains (talk) 22:04, 12 January 2016 (UTC)

Ring of Honor obligations

If he is expect to honor appearances next month, would that coincide with the ROH 14th Anniversary Show? Should we make a section if he does more ROH stuff since he already did the NJPW crossover War of the Worlds with them? 184.145.18.50 (talk) 15:22, 25 January 2016 (UTC)

Imposter Kane vs. Kane

To be honest, he was never referred to as an imposter of Kane on TV, just as Kane. So "Kane" ought to be the right name.PeterMan844 (talk) 20:05, 6 February 2017 (UTC)
