[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Dmitry Konstantinovich Belyaev. Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:

Over simplification regarding Lysenkoism.
[edit]It states, "Indeed, under the rule of Stalin, leading geneticists who believed in Darwinian evolution and Mendelian genetics were considered enemies of the state." But Lysenko described himself as a Darwinian (arguing himself to be more of a Darwinian than some followers of Mendel), and said that he didn't reject Mendel himself, but many of his followers. The peak of the irony is that at some instances Lysenko complained "Mendelians" thought genetic selection was no longer necessary, whereas Lysenko thought it was, that they didn't have achieved "pure lines," which modern and contemporary non-lysenkoist biologists outside the USSR considered likely not the case in agricultural varieties. See Lysenkoism talk page for direct citations.--45.234.133.179 (talk) 01:44, 6 January 2020 (UTC)
