Daycare Comment
[edit]"The school was recently recognized by a prestigeous local institution as the number one day care in the nation."
Could we add this to criticisms of the school?
- No. It is uncited and bogus. --Yamla 20:57, 20 May 2006 (UTC)
- It is part of a play from a prestigeous local instituion, and I can cite it from someones blog. citation. See, its not bogus.

CONFLICT OF INTEREST
[edit]I noticed today the content has been flagged as a potential conflict of interest. I am a historian and educator by profession, with a PhD in Modern European History. In history, the most accurate accounts are from eyewitnesses or primary sources. This history is based on both. One of my sources was indeed myself, Angela Pienkos, chief administrator of DSHA (1976-1997), so of course I had a close connection. However, Angela Pienkos has not received any compensation from the school since 1997. She has no financial relationship with this topic. I felt that the history was lacking in information about the origins/foundations of the school, as well as its subsequent development. I believe I am ideally qualified to speak about the details of the 21 year period that was so crucial to the school's continued existence. . --Angelapienkos (talk) 23:19, 29 November 2015 (UTC)
- Please read the Wikipedia conflict of interest guideline. (It was linked on the notice on your talk page.) See why someone affiliated with the subject of an article is considered to have a conflict of interest, even if s/he has no financial relationship with that entity. Then, if you still feel you have no conflict of interest per WP guidelines, take your plea to the Conflict of Interest Noticeboard. - Yes--and in general, Angelapienkos, if it's not verified by reliable (secondary) sources, it's considered original research. Sorry, but that's how Wikipedia works. Drmies (talk) 05:45, 30 November 2015 (UTC)
