wth is this?

[edit]

"Examining the sources in the prior sentences, an attempt has been made, but they have not provided any valid historical connection of the dilruba to the court of Guru Gobind Singh"

This doesn't belong in the article. Since this wasn't first discussed in the Talk page, I think this should be considered vandalism. I'll remove it if I don't get a response to this.

I too was surprised by this sentence, as a dilruba player that is the story that I was told. However I did some research and on page 226 of this research thesis https://deepblue.lib.umich.edu/handle/2027.42/107325 the same claims are made. Seeing as how that's the only reference I could find, I suggest re-wording the addition to say that there is some doubt as to the truth of the previous claims and adding the citation as necessary. --Autumn astronomer (talk) 23:44, 26 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

As this was not addressed, I edited the article to reflect the more neutral viewpoint. Autumn astronomer (talk) 21:36, 13 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

4 bowed strings?

[edit]

I have never seen any string but the first played on the dilruba, so the claim of 4 bowed strings in the construction section should have a citation.
