The result of the move request was: Not moved. And @Certes: it looks like the dab page has Diego Velásquez already been redirected to the other dab page Diego Velázquez (disambiguation), so hopefully your worry expressed in the final comment is solved. — — Amakuru (talk) 10:20, 28 April 2016 (UTC)
Diego Velásquez (golfer) → Diego Velásquez – This is the only notable person named Diego Velásquez (with an S). After the move, I would add a hatnote linking to Diego Velázquez (disambiguation), which already has all the content of overwritten dab Diego Velásquez, and perhaps directly to the painter Diego Velázquez. - Oppose per Google Books search which shows the z is often spelled s for other individuals In ictu oculi (talk) 19:13, 20 April 2016 (UTC)
- Oppose. Like the previous commenter has said, both spellings are historically synonymous/interchangeable, so it would be misleading. Neodop (talk) 15:08, 21 April 2016 (UTC)
- Comment. Something is wrong here, but my suggestion was probably not the best way to fix it. Would it be better to leave this page as is, and propose (elsewhere) merging the two disambiguation pages? Certes (talk) 10:30, 22 April 2016 (UTC)
