Created a stub for Rev. Dennis Cahill. I started to create an article, and thought it was okay to have an unfinished article under my user page, but apparently that's not the case, and it was marked for speedy deletion. I changed the article to a stub, which I hope is more appropriate. I also hope if some reviewer comes and marks m article for 'sppedy deletion' or some other thing, that they will leave me an explanation on this page.
Can I just say that some of my previous experiences on Wikipedia have not left me feeling encouraged to contribute. I have had contributions removed without an explanation as to why, I have had people argue that my contributions have not added to the article when there was plenty of far less meaningful content already in the article, or had contributions because I inadvertently violated editing rules, and so on. So I was hesitant to create this article, even though it is an subject I am very interested in and is meaningful to the local culture where I was raised.
So I was at first concerned when I saw a number of edits to the article (which is only a stub, but I want to expand it as I am able to do the proper research. Then I looked and saw that several different contributors had made corrections to my tiny little stub. So thank you. I now feel encouraged, rather than discouraged. — Preceding unsigned comment added by No hazmats (talk • contribs) 02:17, 21 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
