Delancey Street – Essex Street (New York City Subway)Delancey Street / Essex StreetRelisted. Vegaswikian (talk) 23:59, 10 July 2011 (UTC) Move title from Delancey Street – Essex Street to Delancey Street / Essex Street. The BMT platforms use the name Essex Street but the IND platforms use the name Delancey Street. This move should keep the page in line with the naming of other station complexes. Station Layout

[edit]

Why is the Chrystie Street Connection continually being added to this section when it has been removed several times recently? This connection has nothing to do with the tracks within this station and is superfluous to the station layout. 198.228.228.21 (talk) 02:30, 30 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It goes to and from the Chrystie Street Connection. The M train doesn't continue on the Nassau Street Line. It is shown as going on the Chrystie Street Connection because it would be awkward to show it continuing on the Nassau Street Line. Get a track map and you will see that the M train gets onto the Chrystie Street Connection just west of the station. Epicgenius (talk) 14:12, 30 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
