Behavior change and sufficiency
[edit]Worth noting that decarbonization scenarios can include social behavior change and some explicitly traverse sufficiency. Both systems models and integrated assessment models are used to explore these facets too. RobbieIanMorrison (talk) 21:37, 9 November 2024 (UTC)
- Oh yes - added a sentence about behavior. If anyone would like to expand the article that would be great Chidgk1 (talk) 06:01, 10 November 2024 (UTC)
Merge request
[edit]Is this not just a content fork of climate change mitigation and should be simply a section in that article? What is the distinction between the two topics? I don’t see it. Let’s merge and redirect. -- Y not? 18:47, 14 February 2025 (UTC)
- @Y Please could you tag and notify as described in Wikipedia:Merging. Because I expect few editors watch this page but a lot watch the mitigation page Chidgk1 (talk) 07:17, 15 February 2025 (UTC)
- Good question. I suppose ‘climate change mitigation’ is a bit like Cooking and ‘decarbonization pathway’ a bit like Recipe. Chidgk1 (talk) 07:23, 15 February 2025 (UTC)
- By the way I see the UN is talking about ‘Climate Action Pathways’ https://unfccc.int/climate-action/marrakech-partnership/reporting-and-tracking/climate_action_pathways They seem to be both decarbonisation and adaptation for sectors. Chidgk1 (talk) 07:33, 15 February 2025 (UTC)
- To avoid confusion I suppose I should wait for this merge proposal to be decided one way or the other before I merge (or propose merging) Deep Decarbonization Pathways initiative into here Chidgk1 (talk) 08:08, 15 February 2025 (UTC)
