Gay

- Not in this article he isn't - not until we have verifiable sources for it. I'm betting you're right, but we MUST have verification to include it here. NickBurns 16:19, 27 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit]71.252.26.90 01:33, 3 November 2006 (UTC) The appearance on "How I Met Your Mother" wasn't recent and, of course, "hit" is subjective. It's sad that an unsubstantiated gossip column piece on a website, (a paragraph at best), plays such a prominent role in this performer's biography but I didn't feel justified in removing it. I might have been more inclined had Neil Patrick Harris's publicist had not given the issue weight by making an official statement on his client's behalf. I promise to get a sign-in, read the FAQs and do a better job next time.
Quit Acting??
[edit]It might be nice to mention that he DID appear in an episode of HIMYM from just this year...Xylogirl07 (talk) 20:11, 15 April 2010 (UTC)
Removed comment out
[edit]Several LGBT categories had been commented out with the following note:
- <!--LGBT categories are not to be used in biographies of living people unless they publicly self-identify with the label in question and it is relevant to their public lives-->
Since he appeared at the Academy Awards as Niel Patrick Harris' date, I think it is safe to say that he has voluntarily self-identified himself as gay; and his relationship with Harris is relevant to his public life. MishaPan (talk) 18:42, 9 May 2010 (UTC)
- Maybe they're just "roommates" or "cousins"... Mr JM 03:10, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
Infobox image
[edit]The current infobox image (File:David Burtka 2012.jpg) makes it look as though Mr. Burtka wears lipstick. This is bad. --MZMcBride (talk) 00:26, 11 June 2012 (UTC)

LGBT Christian?
[edit]The article does not mention he is Christian, but Burtka is included in the category... Why? ---Another Believer (Talk)
- Removed, per WP:BLPCAT. If it is true it needs to be mentioned with a source in the article. Tbhotch.™ Grammatically incorrect? Correct it! See terms and conditions. 03:56, 14 June 2013 (UTC)
Children
[edit]In the personal description is standing that he have 4 children, but he have only 2! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.254.53.134 (talk) 19:25, 1 May 2014 (UTC)
- The article says "Burtka and Harris are parents to fraternal twins Gideon Scott and Harper Grace,[12] born on October 12, 2010, via a surrogate mother. Burtka also has two children from a previous relationship.[13]" That's a total of 4. EvergreenFir (talk) 20:56, 1 May 2014 (UTC)
