David Boucher → David Boucher (cyclist) – Doesn't seem like the primary topic over David Boucher (academic). jlwoodwa (talk) 16:56, 11 October 2024 (UTC)
- Support the academic has 73 views compared with only 10[[1]] for the cyclist. Crouch, Swale (talk) 19:06, 11 October 2024 (UTC)
- Support per nomination and Crouch, Swale, paired with creation of a David Boucher disambiguation page that would list both men plus, under "See also", an entry for David Bouchier. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 23:49, 11 October 2024 (UTC)
- Support disambiguating the cyclist as proposed, then moving the academic to the base name per PT and page view stats from Crouch.
- Strong oppose creation of two-entry dab page per WP:ONEOTHER. . --В²C ☎ 06:21, 17 October 2024 (UTC)
- Support per nom. My rule of thumb is that determining a primary topic by pageview counts, the primary topic has to have at least 10x the pageviews of all other topics by the name, which is a threshold that has not been met. Steel1943 (talk) 19:14, 17 October 2024 (UTC)
- The threshold per WP:PRIMARYTOPIC that needs to be met is merely, “more likely than all the other uses combined”. Requiring 10x as many page views is requiring much more, by an order of magnitude! Why? Why send everyone to a useless and unnecessary dab page? В²C ☎ 04:26, 18 October 2024 (UTC)
