This is a bad title since it implies that there could be Cyrus II of Anshan. Following precedents with Cambyses I am moving. PatGallacher (talk) 20:09, 29 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

PLEASE PLEASE make a stop in your campaign in destroying wikipedia with your original researchs/interests/... . Of cours there is "Curus II", there is "Cyrus III" and all of them "King of Anshan". Please put a "MOVE REQUEST" before you move things., Thank you. Xashaiar (talk) 13:25, 30 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the move request was move. Deacon of Pndapetzim (Talk) 05:22, 15 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Cyrus of AnshanCyrus I — - The name "Cyrus of Anshan" is not used anywhere. And since "Cyrus I" is not ambiguous, and the only one with this name I propose this move. Also using google books test makes sure that Cyrus I is the correct name. Moreover using the usual Encyclopaedias like Britannica (Cyrus I as title and "king of Persia" as subtitle) and Iranica, and the Cambridge History series makes sure the name "Cyrus I" is correct and unambiguous. Can anyone look for a picture of Cyrus I's tomb in Tang-e Eram in Bushehr Province. I searched 'Charkhab Palace' but only came up with http://images.google.ca/images?q=Charkhab+Palace&btnG=Search&um=1&hl=en&tbs=isch%3A1&sa=2&start=0
