Find a Grave[edit]

This personal history account on Find a Grave has a lot of information on the family's history and burial site. Candleabracadabra (talk) 04:44, 1 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Wow, that's right next to the I-75 bridge. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 12:10, 9 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Reference issues[edit]

Would somebody tell me the name of Reference link number 5. I tried to find out myself, but it didn't tell me anything. Also, there's nothing on reference link number 6 that says anything about the existence of a post office here. It's just a page related to Pasco County, Florida cemeteries. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 03:52, 23 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move 4 June 2024[edit]

The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.

The result of the move request was: moved. The nominator's check of sources appears to have corroborated their claim that Croom is the community's best-known name, thereby addressing the questions raised by other participants. Pemberton Ferry, FloridaCroom, Florida – Croom is the current correct name of the forner community. Pemberton Ferry is the old name, and the renames to Pemberton Ferry and Pemberton Ferry, Florida should be reverted. -----User:DanTD (talk) 14:38, 4 June 2024 (UTC) — Relisting. Safari ScribeEdits! User:Candleabracadabra moved the article to Pemberton Ferry 20 minutes after he created it as Croom, Florida, so that does not count as a move against consensus. Unfortunately, we cannot ask Candleabracadabra what his reasoning was. One question is, which name is the place better known as? A brief look at Google does not make that clear. (And redirects are cheap.) Oh, BTW, I think the article is poorly written and stuffed with irrelevant details. Whatever we call it, it should be stubbified and rewritten. I checked at least two more of those references, and they list the community as being named "Croom," and both were published after it was known as "Pemberton Ferry." ---------User:DanTD (talk) 04:18, 14 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
