批孔揚秦
[edit]Why not mention the "批孔揚秦" campaign in this article? 173.89.236.187 (talk) 10:38, 13 May 2016 (UTC)
First Paragraph Potentially Too Harsh/Biased In Tone?
[edit]Hello Fellow Wikipedians! It's come to my attention now that the first paragraph of this article may be a little too forceful to fit our neutrality principles, and, perhaps more importantly, also lacks any citations. The end of the first paragraph read: "The campaign produced detailed Maoist interpretations of Chinese history, and was used as a tool by the Gang of Four to attack their enemies." The first part of this sentence is suitable, but needs a proper citation nonetheless. The second part is not neutral enough in tone to stay even if properly cited. I'm removing the sentence for now, but I encourage a fellow Wikipedian to re-write the bit with proper citation. Cheers! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mrbdt (talk • contribs) 22:33, 18 December 2021 (UTC)
Also, just to note for any future contributors: words such as "attack" and "purge" suggest a tone of bias, and in principle should be used with caution in Wikipedia, if at all. Consider alternatives such as "Criticise". I've gone over the whole page to correct the tone, should be ok now:) (Though it still needs more citations) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mrbdt (talk • contribs) 22:46, 18 December 2021 (UTC)
