Back building trains

We might update the text with Alstom as owner en lieu of Bombardier Transport since 2021 and the participation in HS2 train construction: Crewe 'back building trains' as Alstom shares in major HS2 contract by Gwyn Griffiths, Crew Nub News, 09.12.21 --KaPe (talk) 08:26, 8 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The Flying Kipper

In the Railway series story "The Flying Kipper", Henry is sent to Crewe by the Fat Controller after he crashes into a goods train in a siding at night. When Henry comes back, he arrives as a completely different engine. I am not sure if the Crewe that the Fat Controller refers to is Crewe Works, but seems to most likely place he was referring to. If so, should there be a section added to this article called something like "In Popular Culture" where it mentions the railway series story?
