Time to update the page
[edit]Seeing as how Cox Sports also serves much of the gulf south region, I think it's time to update the page to reflect Cox Sports as being a national presence, not just a regional one. Carface (talk) 00:08, 19 April 2008 (UTC)
Scratch that, the page maybe should redirect to Cox Sports Television, or merge the data from both into one page.Carface (talk) 00:10, 19 April 2008 (UTC)
Update needed
[edit]An update is overdue here, as Cox Sports is no longer a standalone channel as of May 2012, being consolidated with the news rebroadcast channel once run by WLNE-TV but now partnered with WJAR. Ocean State Networks' schedule features Cox Sports' programming during an evening block (which can also stretch well into the afternoon if need be), and WJAR newscasts the rest of the time. (Not carried over as a result: ESPNEWS, infomercials, and the WLVI 10 p.m. news; that means no more Boston TV news of any kind on Cox, since it still doesn't carry New England Cable News.) Of course, even after nearly five months this is not reflected here (unlike at the WJAR article, which does mention Ocean State Networks); that should be rectified. --WCQuidditch ☎ ✎ 02:26, 29 September 2012 (UTC)
