Count? Never in the original series is Baltar referred to as Count. People have erroneously mixed him up with another character, Count Iblis. This page should be renamed to simply "Baltar", and all instances of "Count Baltar" on this and all related pages should be changed to "Baltar".
Not necessarily, although not mentioned onscreen, the novelisations of the original episodes refer to him as Count Baltar, though it is hinted in the novelisation of the pilot that he basically 'bought' his title due to his wealth. Douglasnicol18:08, 27 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
