[edit]CAROLYN MAHANEY I have added a short sentence stating that CJ and Carolyn Mahaney have been noted as speakers and supporters of this council. I believe that this addition will gain traffic to this page and will increase its credibility and notice with CJ and Carolyn's reader. I have recently created a page detailing Carolyn and her ministry. Since she is involved with this ministry, I would greatly appreciate any reviews or critiques of her page ("Carolyn Mahaney"). This is my first time contributing to Wikipedia and I would love any feedback you could provide! Thanks!!
sources for the 'history' of the CBMW
[edit]I would point out that neither the Daily Mail nor the Baptist News pieces contain much information on the history of the CBMW, and that the recent addition, which was mainly sourced to them, appeared to go well beyond what little they actually said about the topic. We need more independent sources discussing the Danvers Statement, here are some
[edit]These.[1][2][3][4] Just checked, we're using one of these but I'll leave it here still. Doug Weller talk 09:53, 1 March 2018 (UTC)
- The second reference is from an author who has co-authored multiple books with H. Wayne House, who is on the Council, so you can't really call it independent. There is nothing in the third link that isn't already stated elsewhere on this page, both in and out of the section on the Danvers Statement.
- Though the 1st and 4th links have some interesting text that I found enlightening and quotable for the section. CleverTitania (talk) 19:18, 4 July 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks for looking at this and commenting. I agree about the 2nd reference not being usable. Doug Weller talk 11:16, 5 July 2018 (UTC)
