This page has yet to find its way into the Articles for Deletion discussion. It was abusively deleted merely an hour after its creation--a separate issue I have with the style of action by the Administrator.

While this is a small school that serves multiple grades, it does cover high school age students. From what I can find in current WP practice, that should be sufficient to establish notability to WP standards. I created this school's article as it was the only school from its athletic league Condor League (composed of equally small schools), not to have a WP article. From the multiple articles I find on independent sources, it seems to graduate about 25 students a year and currently has 21 in the potential graduating class. I have added a couple of the standard school sites that mention this school--normally not necessary. Granted, this article is merely a stub, but it deserves mention and thus has the potential to improve.

A personal note relative to my style: I am creating many articles on High Schools, filling for numerous missing articles in this realm. As I do, I contact the administration of the school in question and suggest they add to their newly created article--perhaps make it a school project to tell the world about their school. I say this as a suggestion of styles for others involved in similar activities on WP, take that extra step and ask people who know about the subject to improve upon it.Trackinfo (talk) 15:54, 11 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You should probably read Wikipedia's actual policy on deletions, because AfD is only one of many legitimate methods for deleting articles.
You will definitely want to take a look at the relevant notability standard. The websites you added are completely useless for this purpose. We're not trying to verify that the school merely exists; we need to show that the school has been "noticed" (that's why we call it "notability") in a significant way by independent sources. So we need, say, articles from a statewide newspaper about their sports teams' achievements, or a scholarly book that uses the school as an example of teaching style, or something like that.
As a tactical issue, you might also want to look at this essay on logical errors, which can be summarized in the immediate context as "don't bring inadequately sourced articles on probably non-notable schools to anyone's attention unless you want all of them deleted". My glance over the articles suggests that Cate and Thacher will survive an AfD, but the others (including the article about the league itself) do not indicate any reason to think the schools notable. I have been searching for the specifics on SCHOOLS, not Organizations as you directed me to. I cannot find any policy that has been ratified that will delete these articles. I don't know where these notes appear, but I will repeat it here, attached to this article. (Contest prod. Verifiable high schools are uniformly kept at AfD per WP:OUTCOMES. Nothing spammy here.) That was written by User:Timotheus Canens and is the basis by which I expect all the High School articles I have initiated are appropriate--even if the school is small and perhaps not outstanding. Please check your policies before you start deleting articles en masse.Trackinfo (talk) 19:14, 11 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Schools are organizations. See "Simply stated, an organization is a group of more than one person formed together for a purpose. This includes commercial and non-commercial activities, such as charitable organizations, educational institutions, hospitals, institutions, interest groups, social clubs, companies, partnerships, proprietorships, religious denominations, sects, etc." in the third paragraph of WP:ORG.
WP:OUTCOMES is not a policy and has no actual force. It accurately records the fact that the majority of American high schools are able to produce the level of sources required to comply with the actual standards, which are at WP:ORG, but the fact that most high schools meet the standard doesn't tell us anything about whether this school meets the standard.
I personally won't be deleting anything, but if the necessary sources cannot be produced, then I'll certainly take the article through the deletion process to allow someone else to do so. WhatamIdoing (talk) 19:56, 11 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
