Building printing
[edit]I suggest a new page "Building printing" that contains all building printing techniquies - Contour Crafting, Pegna (based on Navajo sand painting), Robocrane, D-Shape and Freeform Construction (developed at Loughborough University). Virtualerian (talk) 07:35, 11 June 2011 (UTC)
- The above idea is good but each process should also have its independent entry. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.181.112.163 (talk) 04:55, 14 August 2011 (UTC)
- A Building printing page was created in March 2013. Cheers. N2e (talk) 20:22, 16 January 2014 (UTC)
Any research still going on with this in 2013?
[edit]There's little or nothing in the article to indicate that this work has continued, or still has any research funding, after 2008-2010. Is anything still going on? Have any sources? Cheers. N2e (talk) 22:05, 23 September 2013 (UTC)
- Yeap. Recent news can be found here and here. And importantley, history information can be found here Virtualerian (talk) 22:33, 23 September 2013 (UTC)
Article needs a photo
[edit]The article would be improved with the addition of a photo or two. Perhaps the professor's USC lab will release some under the appropriate license, or possibly one might be used under WP:FAIRUSE from the January 2014 TechFlesh article. Adding {reqimage} tag. Environmental claims?
[edit]Contour Crafting claim that their CO2 emissions are low, compared to traditional building techniques. But they use a cementitious material. Production of cement is one of the major sources of CO2. Any comments? Hermanoere (talk) — Preceding undated comment added 19:41, 1 December 2014 (UTC)
- If you have a source, feel free to add a statement and a WP:RS citation to the article that clarifies what you think needs clarification. But other than that, WP Talk pages are for improving the article, not discussing the topic. Cheers. N2e (talk) 20:39, 1 December 2014 (UTC)
