That claim is a matter of opinion, and to me, the WP:COMMONNAME claim wasn't inherently clear from what I saw. But, I'm not opposing or supporting the move: Best case scenario, no one else participates in this discussion, and the page gets moved since it was unopposed, which acts as a "de facto" consensus that moving a page as a "technical move" doesn't provide. This page is missing details about CATL's technology and offerings. It appears that some editors are opposed to including this information, labeling it as "advertisement." I believe this concern is unfounded and politically biased, especially since many removed edits were verifiable information supported by reputable sources. As a result, the page lacks significant and essential information. DemisJohnson (talk) 19:06, 6 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I am about to make a couple of small edits to this page, which I believe are more updated, balanced, and fall unde rthe category of non-controversial edits. For example, the number of CATL's employees, announcement of CATL's factories ouside China, and CATL's responce to the section of "security concerns". The reason I mention this is because I have a potential conflict of interest , as I am an employee from CATL. Don't hesitate to reach me at my discussion page if you have any questions.
Many thanks. FayWu9805 (talk) 09:04, 13 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Following on my note on July 13, I have made several edits citing reputable sources. I updated the number of CATL's employees from 2020 to 2023, citing its 2023 annual report. The year of CATL's establishment was changed from 2012 to 2011 in the section of History. Regarding the part of Growth and Technology, cooperation with BMW since 2012 was added, which is CATL's first customer from the EV sector. The announcements of CATL's Hungarian plant and cooperation with Stellantis were also added, which are important for CATL's glaobal expansion. To make the part of Security Concerns more neutral, CATL's reponse were added as well, by citing news outlet such as Reuters, PV Magazines etc.
I hope to have some specific recommendations in the near future, but for now I wanted to flag this for readers and editors. Thanks. FayWu9805 (talk) 00:48, 15 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
