Constance II?
[edit]The Spanish Wikipedia calls her Constanza II de Sicilia. Is it possible that she was Peter I's co-monarch as Constance II? I've noticed that some books do indeed call her Constance II. The Spy Who Came in from the Cold (talk) 10:21, 28 August 2010 (UTC)

The result of the move request was: not moved. The consensus is that the current title is the most common name in English-language reliable sources. Jenks24 (talk) 07:02, 16 September 2015 (UTC)
Constance of Sicily, Queen of Aragon → Constance II of Sicily – Name is used more frequently among Italian and Spanish historians. –

It is entirely possible that Constance did function as queen regnant in some sense. Perhaps she should be called Constance II. But we need a proper discussion, one that would include sources discussing her status. Wikipedia definitely cannot be its own source. The Italian Wikipedia cites "Runciman, p. 55", but nothing there confirms the claim made in the article. I am still trying to access "Pierotti Cei, p.214". - Oppose. We usually use the commonest unambiguous name in reliable English-language sources: I get one gbook hit for "Constance II of Sicily" and 9 for "Constance of Sicily, Queen of Aragon". DrKiernan (talk) 18:44, 3 September 2015 (UTC)
