Semi-protected edit request on 20 July 2023
[edit]In the Late Night (1993–2009) section in the second sentence it reads "there was significant public apprehension due to O'Brien being virtually known to the public". I believe this should read "there was significant public apprehension due to O'Brien being virtually unknown to the public". I am unable to edit this myself, so I am requesting it to be or for me to be given temporary permission to change this. FarneseAtlas (talk) 14:37, 20 July 2023 (UTC)
- Implemented that in, thanks for pointing that out! Cerebral726 (talk) 14:41, 20 July 2023 (UTC)

Add Category: People from Brookline, Massachusetts
[edit]I think this page should be added to the category [[Category:People from Brookline, Massachusetts]]. I am not able to edit this page myself so someone who can please do. 176.61.123.52 (talk) 22:59, 21 December 2023 (UTC)
Add Podcaster?
[edit]Should we add podcaster to Conan O'Briens description since he's been doing it for over 5 years and its a new era in his career. I personally think we should, but i just want to get a public opinion. Insert clever username here42 (talk) 16:47, 20 August 2024 (UTC)
- MOS:ROLEBIO, which I linked to you, says
avoid overloading the lead paragraph with various and sundry roles; instead, emphasize what made the person notable.

Add a section to the Music Video section - he featured in Dawes' music video for their song 'Mister Los Angeles' https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xWgJWVNIj5U Mrhazzajohnson (talk) 16:03, 20 November 2024 (UTC)
He featured in an advert for Vauxhall before fame.
[edit]Now before Conan O’Brien found fame by hosting Late Night, six years earlier in March 1987 he featured in an obscure advert for Vauxhall Motors in the United Kingdom promoting their limited edition Club models in their model range.
He briefly appeared towards the end of the advert, when he successfully picked up his Cavalier Club by using some sort of huge magnet to collect the car whilst it was being transported on the car transporter under the bridge on the motorway.[1]
The song used in the advert was Runaway by Del Shannon, which was over twenty six years old when this advert was filmed. 82.31.96.109 (talk) 20:45, 11 January 2025 (UTC)

Strange grammar in last paragraph of Personal Life
[edit]The last paragraph of the Personal Life section contains a seeming non-sequitur:
On October 21, 2011, O'Brien was ordained as a minister by the Universal Life Church Monastery, allowing him to perform a same-sex marriage in New York, then one of the few states in the US where gay marriage was legal, to tape a week's worth of shows.
It seems 'to tape a week's worth of shows' is the remnant of a prior draft sentence which has been left in, and should probably just be dropped. I can't edit the page myself, so I'm putting it here in the talk page. 31.205.14.220 (talk) 01:53, 26 February 2025 (UTC)
