Remove Malaysia

[edit]

I would limit this list to entries for countries where English is prevalent enough that the country's road signs are in English. Therefore, remove Malaysia. bd2412 T 02:38, 23 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. English isn't one of the official languages of Malaysia. Schwede66 20:42, 20 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

But they speak English in some areas Kingwarnen (talk) 22:05, 3 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sierra Leone child sign

[edit]

I have a source that the sign looks like the British one, and not the Italian one: [1] - VulpesVulpes42 (talk) 20:30, 15 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Liberia and Sierra Leone

[edit]

I would suggest the removal of these two countries, as there are practically nil sources. Fry1989 eh? 20:03, 18 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Liberia, sure! I hesitate however with Sierra Leone, since I found some photographs. I also like to imagine that there must be a reason that the Sierra Leone column showed Italian road signs in the first place. VulpesVulpes42 (talk) 06:02, 22 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
As for Liberia, I did find this. VulpesVulpes42 (talk) 06:06, 22 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I have seen that photo from Liberia as well, but finding other sources seems practically impossible. Even Google Streetview and Mapillary are extremely limited. As for Sierra Leone, that used to be a British colony, so the children sign makes sense. But without any other sources, I would be highly suspicious of them using Italian-style signs for other instances. I'm not especially a fan of this article anyways, I think the comparison tables should be left to continents, but if we are to have this article it does need proper sources and these two countries just don't have them. The same source that suggests that the child sign looks like the British one also shows a mandatory sign which looks like the Italian one, on a different photograph. VulpesVulpes42 (talk) 20:40, 22 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
True, but I don't think 2 signs is sufficient sourcing for a comparison table. Fry1989 eh? 17:41, 9 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

C'mom guys

[edit]

There are large gaps in info, ffs I know there is a Highway shield/ One way sign in the US because I see them every day, but it is just an empty space in the article

Nigeria

[edit]

I believe that Nigeria should sadly be removed for the time being. There is conflicting evidence regarding if the country uses white or yellow backgrounds on their road signs. The article is also inconsistent. The tables show yellow backgrounds, while the map would suggest white backgrounds. We also have very few proper Nigerian signs, with generic Vienna Convention placeholders filling up most of the Nigerian data, which I do not believe is useful to the article. Until we get more proper diagrams, I believe that the tabular data should be removed and replaced with some quick textual remark. —VulpesVulpes42 (talk) 07:23, 1 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Add Uganda

[edit]

Uganda's road signs are in English. Why not try adding those? Kingwarnen (talk) 22:05, 3 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
