The result of the move request was: Move to Commissioning of the Twelve Apostles. Cúchullain t/c 20:31, 25 February 2013 (UTC)
Commissioning the twelve apostles → Commissioning the Twelve Apostles – I don't actually have a strong opinion on this either way, but the use of capitalization in the title of this article currently doesn't match the opening sentence. I considered changing the sentence myself, but since I'm not a biblical scholar or even a Christian I figured establishing a consensus one way or the other was the best way. elvenscout742 (talk) 04:14, 8 February 2013 (UTC)
- Comment - the title is already counter usual MOS/Title practice grammatically in using the active verbal noun "Doing" - It should have "of" to nominalize "commissioning." it should be Commissioning of the twelve apostles, but as for caps, since "the" already makes it definite, technically there is no need for caps, search a full string such as "the twelve apostles were" and in a normal sentence Twelve Apostles aren't capitalized in modern books. - Well, MOS/Title doesn't really mean anything if the majority of biblical scholar call it by this term. I really don't know if they do, of course. elvenscout742 (talk) 06:58, 8 February 2013 (UTC)
- I can't see that any would - the absence of "of" limits the action to the 1 minute "The act of commissioning" it took to say the words, rather than the whole series of intent, action and consequences. In ictu oculi (talk) 07:52, 8 February 2013 (UTC)

- Rename to Commissioning of the Twelve Apostles. The article on the Twelve Apostles is at Twelve Apostles, showing we generally categorize the term (otherwise it would be Twelve apostles). John Pack Lambert (talk) 00:32, 9 February 2013 (UTC)
- Yes I'd be happy with this. The thing is that in a run of text "the role of the twelve apostles.." we wouldn't see capitalization, but as an article title this isn't just any twelve apostles. In ictu oculi (talk) 04:36, 9 February 2013 (UTC)
- Support move to Commissioning of the Twelve Apostles as counter-proposed, or alternatively to Commissioning the Twelve Apostles as originally proposed but prefer the counter proposal. And IMO the lead should read "The commissioning of the Twelve Apostles is...". Andrewa (talk) 19:27, 16 February 2013 (UTC)
