Why did I create this article?

[edit]

The main article on Mother Teresa was morphing from a biography into an enumeration of things and events honoring Mother Teresa. Ultimately, this cluttered the article and would prevent us from eventually obtaining GA status.

At the same time I feel it's appropriate to have some detailed treatment of commemorations. That's why I created this article.

Please feel free to add to it and improve it. Reference your edits and try to make it as encyclopedic (hint: paragraphs are good; lists should be used sparingly). I'll pitch in from time to time to help out. Majoreditor 03:02, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
