Rebranding

[edit]

Is it confirmed that it’s now the c909? I’ve seen the photo of the airframe painted in c909 livery but is it for sure? Sneakysasquatchfan (talk) 19:16, 14 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Sneakysasquatchfan. I'm pretty sure they did rebrand it to C909. Hacked (Talk|Contribs) 05:32, 17 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
As far as I can tell, the rebrand isn't official yet, but is expected to be announced at the Zhuhai Air Show which opens on 12 November. Now that the history from the copy-and-paste move has been merged, I would suggest that we ought to move the article back to the original title until the new name is official. Unless anyone can come up with a source stating that the rebrand is official or some other policy-based reason not to move back, I'll be making a technical move request to do just that. Due to a cut and paste move, the talk page for Comac ARJ21 was left behind, and this has been swapped back, just wanted to let participants know that discussion should continue at Talk:Comac ARJ21 to avoid splitting the talk page (and it seems there's a chance the pages will be swapped in the future so that seems more relevant.) Thanks! ASUKITE 14:22, 24 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Move discussion in progress
