Referencing
[edit]- Do not put references below the footer text for References or add them with no matching text or reference numbers. Use the help resources and Cite templates to add correctly formatted references once the relevant text has been added. See: https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Help:Referencing_for_beginners
Limelightangel (talk) 21:47, 14 November 2023 (UTC)
- 2 references incorrectly formatted in UPPER CASE.
- try to find the actual date of the websources, and/or try to use web sources and the Cite Web template with authors and dates.
- check the formatting conventions for non-English reference formats.
- reference 7 may well have an author on the page. Ref. 5 has an author. Ref. 10 has an author. The 'authot' of the Collegio Rotundi refs. is Collegio Rotundi.Limelightangel (talk) 11:00, 28 November 2023 (UTC)
Structure: Lead Section
[edit]Pages do not have a section header for 'Introduction'. It needs to have a summary or 'lead section', to be created first, not least to avoid duplication of facts and links later in the article. The summary introduction or 'lead section' is explained at: Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style/Lead_section. Limelightangel (talk) 17:31, 20 November 2023 (UTC)
- the lead section needs improvement, including where it is.
- the info. on the bequest should go in another section, possible the start of History under 16th Century as a sub-section on it's formation/construction.
- the link out to Terzaghi is incorrect and goes to a non-English platform.Limelightangel (talk) 10:20, 28 November 2023 (UTC)
- new link to Terzaghi (famiglia) added LiucAnita.rvz (talk) 16:39, 28 November 2023 (UTC)

[edit]- duplicate links out.
- excessive overlinking: 1599, Italy, Galileo, WW1, WW2, Austrian Empire; etc. See: Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style/Linking

History
[edit]- 2nd paragraph of 16th Century and 1st of 17th century are irrelevant to this page topic and have irrelevant and overlinking of links for the page topic. It needs removing or relating clearly to the topic, and a source.
- 16th & 17th century sections, and most of 19th century, have no sources.
- most of the content in 19th Century relates to a different period.
Limelightangel (talk) 10:40, 28 November 2023 (UTC)
- corrected the names of the paragraphs which now refer to the right period Liuc.claudia (talk) 15:46, 28 November 2023 (UTC)
Academic Profile
[edit]- entire and large subsections have no sources at all.
- the content is far too detailed and lengthy.
- it contains extensive issues with style and subjectivity.
- it requires reconsideration and extensive reduction and rewriting with far better sources and adherence to Manual of style guidelines.

- the large text block contains multiple incorrect text and needs structuring with paragraphs.
- it requires reconsideration, restructuring and extensive reduction and rewriting with far better sources and adherence to Manual of style guidelines

Graphical Content

Review 4/11/23
[edit]- the page needs the addition of correct See Also, External links and Categories. See:
- refs. 14 and 15 are duplicates and need use of ref name to create multiple citations to a single reference.
- Academic profile and Events are too long, detailed, subjective, lack gone sources, and overly promotional, lacking in notable factual content. They should be reduced/removed and/or the style changed. There are extensive issues with style in the Academic profile section.
- the page needs images to support the text content, particularly on Architecture, and the Church.
- the first paragraphs of both 18th and 19th centuries need a clearer link to the topic or removed.
- the sections on the 18th century has no sources. The section on the 19th century has only one. The section on Events has none.
- the lead section needs to summarise notability, link out to province of Varese, and move the details of the bequest to the initial 17th century history section. If it is the oldest Catholic school in Italy, and the first school in Italy to have a vertical curriculum, this notability should be included in the lead section.
- style: 'these new changes overwhelmed Milan'; 'It strives to cultivate high moral and ethical awareness in students based on religion and to cultivate talents who serve society. '; 'It is also possible to admire'; 'Then,'; 'a valuable testimony of the state of the library at that time. '; 'Currently,'; 'thanks to'; 'In fact,';
- grammar, many related to incorrect tense for historical periods: 'In this scenario, the Collegio updates and modernizes'; 'which serves as a gatering place'; 'a catholic school'; 'Cardinal. Archbishops of Milan'; 'Simultaneously experienced a growth and steadily expanded to accommodate the evolving demands and requirements placed upon it by the industrial revolution of the territory. '; 'The new century is a period of growth'; 'the education the Collegio provides'; 'are all diocesan priests. '; 'The Oblates give up on'; 'is reinforced,'; 'The rectors aim at'; 'The work construction of the Cappella dell'Immacolata is completed. '; 'latin'; 'to provide Collegio of place of worship. '; 'a marble memorial table inside itself reports. '; 'campile'; 'granting its integration with the surrounding buildings.'; 'twenty-four'; 'And also it hosts exhibitions.'; 'but it is not a place lived only by specialists';
- structure: the crest is better in a seperate section rather than a sub-section in History.
- duplicate content: 'It strives to cultivate high moral and ethical awareness in students based on religion and to cultivate talents who serve society. '; 'to cultivate high moral and ethical awareness in students and cultivate talents who would serve society.'; 'It also actively incorporates religion into the school's educational program. It provides religious education to students and actively supports religious events and activities. '; 'This event marked Collegio Rotondi as the first in Italy to have a vertical curriculum from nursery to university level.'; 'the first school in Italy to have a vertical curriculum ranging from kindergarten to university'; etc.
- quotes: 'new school system ' quote needs to comply with conventions, include its source, and be in larger case. See: Wikipedia:Quotations
- some formating issues with several phrases e.g. '«children’s library»; etc.
Limelightangel (talk) 22:24, 4 December 2023 (UTC)

Structure & Link Out
[edit]- 20 minor edits made, mainly related to promotional/subjective style
- the link out to Illumism may be incorrect as it goes to Illuminati
- structure: section on Religion contains sub-sections on the buildings. It may be better to put these in a section on Buildings & Architecture, and the initial paragraph on Religion moved to academic Profile or similar?Limelightangel (talk) 10:59, 11 December 2023 (UTC)
- link to Illuminism fixed
- divided Religion paragraph into Buildings and architecture and academic profile
