    Well done!

Additional comments

[edit]

While I feel this article meets all the requirements for GA, I think there are a few more bits of information that could be added to expand the article. I do not consider them to be requirements for GA since I don't know if there are any available sources for this information, but if you want ideas for expansion, here are some: the information about the original building cites that there were residential rooms and business store room – do these types of rooms still exist in the theater today? Can there be any reasons found for any of the name changes that the theater has gone through? Did they correspond with changes in ownership or the types of films shown? Lastly, is there just 1 film projection arena, or are their more? Best of luck and happy editing! --Tea with toast (話) 17:41, 10 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks so much! I do think there is potential to expand the article further, but this is what I can produce based on information that can be found online. I may need to approach the theater directly for additional information, publications, etc. Your help is much appreciated. --Another Believer (Talk) 17:46, 10 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Images

I've put some recent photos in commons:Category:Clinton Street Theater. I think that one or more of them might be better choices than the ones currently in the article, but since the article already has GA status, I'll leave it to someone else to decide. - Jmabel | Talk 03:19, 29 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Jmabel: I had changed the infobox image even before seeing this message (I happened to see your new pictures after seeing your change to the Commons category on my watchlist). Thank you for sharing these images and for the heads up. They are great! (Also, thank you for categorizing your images as Commons so thoroughly.) Hope you enjoyed your time in Portland! ---Another Believer (Talk) 05:54, 29 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Another Believer: Glad to be of help. I was only in Portland for about 20 hours this time around (including sleeping), but it was part of a 2-day vacation that was mostly a photo expedition. - Jmabel | Talk 05:03, 31 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
