Update information with the Feb 2021 winter storm
[edit]The section starting with "The worst cold snap to occur statewide occurred during the last half of December in 1983..." seems to no longer be true with the February 13–16, 2021 North American winter storm. The information should be updated once this storm has played out and is no longer a current event. Here are some sources that can be referenced:

Connection with greenhouse emissions?
[edit]What does Texas's climate have to do with how much green-house gases are emitted? It is nice to see that some Wikipedia authors want to make a green statement here, but it does no belong here. (209.7.171.66 22:16, 17 July 2007 (UTC))
East Texas cities
[edit]Why are Dallas and Galveston listed as East Texas cities? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Dallas would be more appropriate in the Northern Plains category, and Galveston would be a South Texas city. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Missy Davis (talk • contribs) 19:12, 10 December 2011 (UTC)
Degrees Celsius
[edit]Would be great if degree Celsius were included — Preceding unsigned comment added by 111.248.71.213 (talk) 13:06, 7 June 2012 (UTC)
Celsius should be the default temperature to keep it consistent with every other cities wikipedia page. Just because US uses F should not matter. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 175.33.95.213 (talk) 01:08, 12 September 2024 (UTC)
