Laxey Browside Tramway - new material

[edit]

There is a book The Railways and Tramways of Laxey by Andrew Scarffe (see here), that is referred to by this video, and would appear to have more information on the Browside Tramway. I do not have access to a copy. --Verbarson talkedits 23:51, 11 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Douglas Head Funicular Railway

[edit]

I have redirected the article Douglas Head Funicular Railway to the relevant section of this article. The original text was brief, unsourced and contained a single (dead) external link. No material was copied from it. --Verbarson talkedits 11:17, 12 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

A mystery no longer

[edit]

@81.187.206.64: Laxey Browside Tramway: Fully documented in "Tramways of Laxey". Nothing mysterious about it. I am delighted that further details are available. Do you have access to the book? If so, may I hope that you will expand the section, possibly starting with an accurate date of closure? -- Verbarson  talkedits 17:19, 5 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
