GMC Classics only?
[edit]I think some clarification is needed here.
Is this article about the GMC Classic specifically, or the Classic bus-design in general, including MCI & NovaBus?
If it is about Classics in general, I suggest this article be moved to something more accurately titled, such as Classic (transit bus)
If there is no opposition to moving this article to Classic (transit bus), then I'll go ahead and do it sometime.

Find some better pictures. 23:01, 9 August 2006 (UTC) —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 66.57.227.19 (talk • contribs) 23:01, 9 August 2006 (UTC).
- I tend to agree, but the only picture I had of an articulated Classic was from behind. I'll try and get a good front-on shot sometime. --hfx_chris 02:09, 24 August 2006 (UTC)
Moving page to singular
[edit]I'm moving this page to Classic (transit bus). I'm pretty sure that pluralizing the title doesn't jive with WP:MOS standards, not to mention all the other bus articles. Green451 18:35, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
It turns out that I can't move the page yet, as there's already a redirect there. I've put a speedy delete tag on that page, so that I can move this one there. If anyone has any objections, feel free to voice them. Green451 18:42, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
Pictures
[edit]I created a gallery on Wikimedia Commons and placed all of the pictures of the Classic bus here, as has been done for the Rapid Transit Series article. Only one size was ever made, except for 16 articulated coaches. --AEMoreira042281 (talk) 17:16, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
Clients
[edit]Just like the New Flyer Industries article, it is safe to say that the Classic had a lot of customers. As such, I have removed the sections for current and former operators. No other major North American bus article has this. --AEMoreira042281 (talk) 06:42, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
Regarding the model numbers and artics
[edit]Now I remember the reason for the C in TC. The original sales brochures for the Classic and GM Artic referred to them as the "New Look Classic" and "New Look Articulated", respectively. This would explain that TC stands for Transit Classic, and TA stands for Transit Articulated. This also builds further into my reasoning that the GM Artic cannot be grouped in with the Classic Artics or with the Classic model at all. If GM didn't, then why should we here?
