Contesting Speedy Deletion
[edit]Hello, I would like some time to accomidate your wishes, but thought I had followed criteria. Everything has its reference, which includes Wired Magazine and IGN. If someone could explain why this is not worthy, I would be thankful. Please compare to the page of Josh Howard (artist) and let me know what difference is causing speedy deletion of this but not the other. Thank you for your time, and I look foward to reworking and editing this page to fit with your wishes. -- Taffypuller (talk) 03:43, 22 April 2009 (UTC)
- I realize now the part about the blog may seem a bit like an advertisement. I merely was copying the layout of the other page I linked above. Will striking it help the cause? If not, please do let me know what the issues are and I will happily edit away. -- Taffypuller (talk) 03:49, 22 April 2009 (UTC)
- Apologies for the multiple edits, but I'm a bit put off (IE: Confused) by the two minute deletion warning. Please google "Christopher Howard Wolf" along with "Chris Wolf", as per the notes in the deletion tag. I believe that might help. Thank you for your time. -- Taffypuller (talk) 03:51, 22 April 2009 (UTC)
- Thank you for the opportunity to improve this entry. In the coming days I hope to learn about all of the style guidelines and more - and to perfect the article. Any guidance along the way will more more than wonderful. -- Taffypuller (talk) 04:17, 22 April 2009 (UTC)
Dawson's Creek
[edit]"He also appeared on the television series Dawson's Creek (Appearing as a sideburned student.[1])"
The citation given does not give the name of the actor who played the sideburned student. The "Chris Wolfe" (note the "e") mentioned in the source is a recurring character played by one Jason Behr (see [1],[2]). Therefore, this seems to be a misinterpretation of the source; I've removed the claim for now until a better citation can be found. -kotra (talk) 06:53, 22 April 2009 (UTC)

Voice actor
[edit]The "Christopher Wolf" who voice acted in You're Under Arrest! also played the role of "Strong Guy" in the 1985 movie Private Resort. Our Christopher Wolf, though, is 29, according to his forum profile. This means he would've been 5 in 1985. Therefore, I've removed the claim. -kotra (talk) 07:18, 22 April 2009 (UTC)
- Hello! Thank you for your help. I see now the difference between bolding and italics. I never understood the difference before. Please see http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2297747/ and note this is (III) instead of (I) as referenced in your edit. Looks like the IMDB has some wrongly attributed information on (I). For more info check CrystalAcids.com. Again, thank you so much for your help. -- 12.76.221.138 (talk) 17:04, 22 April 2009 (UTC)
- No worries, the bold/italics thing is a common mistake. Thanks for your explanation and the CrystalAcids source; along with your original IMDB source the claim is probably verifiable enough to be reasonably certain. I've re-added it with the CrystalAcids entry cited as well. Since the role was so minor it may not merit inclusion on notability grounds, but I'll leave that for someone else to determine. -kotra (talk) 23:08, 22 April 2009 (UTC)
- Thank you! Hopefully I can get this article perfect, or somewhat perfected, and take all of this knowledge on to my next article. -- Taffypuller (talk) 17:37, 23 April 2009 (UTC)

Un-Crufting
[edit]Hello. Can anyone give me some pointers on un-fancrufting this article? I read the article on Fancruft and I'm having a hard time figuring it out. I don't believe there isn't Fancruft. I'm sure it's there. I am just having a hard time seeing it which is my own problem. -- Taffypuller (talk) 00:36, 28 April 2009 (UTC)
- tried to take care of that a bit. 4.153.84.87 (talk) 23:19, 6 November 2010 (UTC)
Fixed Tone
[edit]If there are no objections, I would think it's alright to remove the fan perspective note from the top if this article. 4.153.84.16 (talk) 00:56, 28 December 2010 (UTC)
