I'd suggest it's removed. I have no idea whether it's a balanced and factual account or a biased and one-sided one, but it certainly fails to support itself with citations, and the only one it does provide seems to contradict the article on a few points.

I know it's a low-importance stub, but shouldn't it be deleted? Even the title's a bit loaded; why not "Religion in Saudi Arabia"??

"why not "Religion in Saudi Arabia"??" I think there's already a page for that?

Neutrality

[edit]

This article is not worded in a neutral manner. WP:NPOV should be reviewed for assistance in fixing this issue. ···日本穣? · 投稿 · Talk to Nihonjoe 03:56, 6 July 2009 (UTC) The historical record of Christianity in Arabia during the Early Islamic period has no historical background. Non Muslim's in Muslim law do not pay any poor tax (Zakat). They pay Jizya (Poll tax). The so called historical account is unverifiable. And there is no historical evidence or citation to prove any expulsion of Arab Christians. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.236.69.194 (talk) 02:40, 19 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Christians were expelled from Najran, there is a record of at least that much. There is also a hadis proscribing the expulsion of non-Muslims from Muslim land. --Cabazap (talk) 00:34, 25 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

No christians churches?

[edit]

So, if there are no official christian churches and people meet in chat rooms, why is there a list of christian churches here: http://thisismydubai.com/list-churches-dubai/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.216.193.149 (talk) 04:02 22 July 2015 (UTC)

Dubai is not in Saudi Arabia. It is in the UAE. --Quistclose (talk) 02:09, 6 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

About History

[edit]

Modified the parts claiming there were Christians settlements in Najran that were expelled by Muslims or forcefully converted by the latter. First, reading the wiki article about Najran indicates they were conquered and forcefully converted by a Jewish King centuries before Islam. Furtheremore, Banu Taghlib and Banu Tamim followed Christianity after they left what is modern day Saudi Arabia for Mesopotamia, as indicated in the wiki pages they were linked to. Thus, they are irrelevant to this article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.27.158.175 (talk) 02:13, 16 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

0.5 million?

[edit]

In the "community today" section, it says 0.5 million rather than 500,000. Is this intentional? 2A02:1810:2582:6D00:A89B:2ADB:2A99:CE0B (talk) 21:46, 11 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
