This text of the article is probably original research - it needs a better source.

On May 5, 2012, Hatcher, along with Sandy Rosario, was called up by the marlins. However, only 4 days later, both Hatcher and Rosairo was sent back to the minors. On June 16, he was called up again by the marlins. The next day, Hatcher pitched in 1 inning against the Tampa Bay Rays in which it was his first game since 2011.

There once was a pitcher Chris Hatcher:
The roof, his home run balls could thatch her.
His pitching so poor,
All the runners would score;
And he hadn't the need for a catcher!


(Though to be fair his pitching has improved drastically in the past few months.)
