Hi there, just wondering if you would add my website as a reference tool for the CQD as a breed information site reference? We are also working towards getting them recognition with a larger registering body. We would contact you when this takes place

Move

[edit]

Hello, I intend to WP:MOVE this article from the current name to simply Chongqing Dog as per the China Kennel Union. There are only 2 WP:RELIABLE sources in the article and both use this name. I shall wait one week for other editors to comment. William Harris (talk) 09:43, 26 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

A few more sources

[edit]

Not much out there because the breed is so rare.

  1. Cesarsway
  2. Woman's Day
  3. Modern Molosser - not much there
  4. Building People, Volume 3: Sunday Emails from a CEO - interesting page about a rare terracotta dog from the late Han dynasty (1st-3rd century). The book says that is resembles the present-day Chinese Chongqing Dog. Might be worth investigating.

May have to check foreign language books for more info. Atsme 💬 📧 22:25, 25 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
