The Chino Hills High Girls Dance Team took home seven 1st place trophies from Florida’s Contest of Champions for Dance. The Girls Dance Team had a fantastic time competing and dancing with other High School Dance teams from around the nation. The team competed in many dance numbers, and received First place in: Large Dance, Large Lyrical, Medium Hip Hop, Medium Dance, Medium Lyrical, Small Lyrical, and senior Emily Ha received first place Overall Soloist. Many of the dancers enjoyed their time in Florida. In addition to being East Coast National Champions, the Dance Team also swept the competition away at the USA Nationals in Anaheim, California when receiving all 1st place championship titles.

Not done This is very interesting I'm sure to those who participated and their families, but we generally require what are called reliable sources to make edits. The school news site or a local paper are not independent of the article subject. If you can find coverage of this championship in some other source, then your request will certainly be reconsidered. Nevertheless, thank you for your suggestion and welcome. Eggishorn (talk) (contrib) 18:25, 19 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

In the extra curricular section, the following should be added and updated:

Chino Hills High School, often called "The Pride of the Hill", is in fact very proud of their extracurricular activities. In 2014, the CHHS Spiritleaders made history at USA Nationals, sending their very first cheer team so the finals. Since then, there have been multiple top placings from both the cheer and song teams at Nationals. In 2017, the CHHS Spiritleaders took first place in the fight song category, and brought their first National Champion banner back to the school. CHHS also has an exceptional dance team, which has many National Champion titles from both USA Nationals and nationals in Florida. The CHHS Band has a World Champ title, and works hard every year to maintain their high standards of music. Lab2017 (talk) 04:00, 17 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
