I have attempted to wikify the article. Categorized information and trying to make more sense. --Zhongxin 13:37, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Information is very scare because this is article is about a state owned company which is yet to formalize its existence. Hardly any information at this point in time. Maybe in the next month or so, the article will become clearer and more people will assist wikifying this article. --Zhongxin 13:39, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Do you think I could write a article about Lou Jiwei? http://www.time.com/time/specials/2007/article/0,28804,1725112_1723512_1723577,00.html - He heads the corporation WhisperToMe (talk) 21:02, 3 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please soften the general tone of the article. It shows an alarmist situation unsuitable by wikipedia standards. Objectivity required. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.80.130.134 (talk) 10:42, 1 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Bloomberg has done a study on the Chinese bond market. The value of CIC issued bonds in that study far exceeds the value quoted in this article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.203.133.32 (talk) 18:24, 18 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Temasek Holdings?

[edit]

isn't CIC more like singapore's Government Investment Corporation (GIC)? http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Government_of_Singapore_Investment_Corporation

Temasek is a holding company which was created to manage public company asset the country has. it does not receive further funding from the government and is more of an instrument of privatization. it makes investment from profits generated from it's asset or buy selling them.

while GIC is to manage the national currency reserved. also their name give it away too.

Holdings

[edit]

Someone has added

Liverpool FC, August 5th, 2010, $900 Million, 97% stake[22]

with a fake reference.

This is pure speculation as there has not even been offered a bid from CIC yet. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.202.166.200 (talk) 09:42, 5 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The whole "investment strategies" section of this article is awful. There are a couple times where information repeats and it seems completely ad hoc. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.140.102.159 (talk) 23:02, 30 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
