Reversion

[edit]

Another (anonymous) editor entirely overwrote this stub with a wholly different article. I have reverted the edit. I am about to create their article as Child Life (degree) and create a disambiguation page. Fiddle Faddle 12:04, 25 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Today's proposed deletion

[edit]

I don't feel particularly strongly about this, but I am on the side of retention, based on the fact that this is a historical journal of a respected society. On that basis I am removing the notice of proposed deletion, and hope that the article is improved instead. I created this as a technical exercise. I have no particular interest in the article itself or in the society or its organs. If folk feel strongly then a full deletion discussion is appropriate. • I have no problem with you removing the PROD, but I would expect that you would then at least try to address some of the problems here. At this point, there is not a single source showing that this journal even existed. The EL does not mention it. It's a two-liner without sources, do you really think this is worth the effort at AfD? --Crusio (talk) 12:33, 23 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
    • I'm really hoping that someone will step in and rescue it. I'm not at all interested in it. Fiddle Faddle (talk) 21:10, 23 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
      • I'm not sure if I am responding to this discussion correctly, but I wanted to note that there is a recognized profession and a field of study called "child life" akin to "Occupational Therapy" or "Social Work" (see "Child Life Specialist", "Child Life Council" and "Child Life (degree)"). To me this seems like a better fit for the definition of the generic term "child life" as opposed to a historical journal with no current references - perhaps this entry could be moved under a separate heading such as, "Child Life (journal)" or something similar? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Genevievethomas (talkcontribs) 06:56, 23 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
