• Oppose I don't think the seed should be primary over the article on the plant, Salvia hispanica. If the articles were merged (Sesame seed redirects to Sesame), I feel that would be the primary topic. User:力 (powera, π, ν) 20:20, 24 November 2021 (UTC)

  The catch here is that S. hispanica is not the only species producing chia seeds – there is also Salvia columbariae. It seems that the latter is much less commercially important and referred to as "golden chia" when specificity is needed. Personally, I would support a merge since S. columbariae is of secondary importance; note, for example, that Malus domestica redirects to Apple while Malus sieversii, its wild ancestor, is a separate article. Use of Non-Metric Measurements

I note that the fibre comparison chart uses ounces and cups. Given the international audience for Wikipedia and that 94% of the planet's population use the metric system, let's use only metric measures. Also, fruit vary in size.
