The original source for this article deals with China but not the time period in question. The source is a journal that starts in 1933, 60 some years after Che Kam Kong died. --Ian 02:11, 15 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This seems like a very late date for the first Protestant martyr. The first Protestant missionary, Robert Morrison (missionary) arrived in 1807, but by 1871 there were literally thousands of converts - at great personal risk.
