speedy delete request
[edit]Hi, I'm trying to get this redirect deleted to move back the article that's currently at Central High School (Fort Worth, Texas). The school's website [1] specifically says it is in Keller, and so does its listing on the Keller School District website [2]. --JaGatalk 06:13, 5 January 2010 (UTC)
- Although CHS has a Keller mailing address and is a Keller ISD school, it is actually located in Fort Worth.
- Here, the city boundaries of all municipalities in the North Central Texas Council of Governments, which includes the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex, are shaded. The green area to the east is Keller, and the blue area to the west is Fort Worth. CHS's address is pinpointed, and as you can see, it is actually located in Fort Worth.
- It can be confusing, but a city's mailing address is not always in accordance with its physical location. Also, in Texas, independent school districts frequently cross city boundaries; there are numerous examples of this in DFW - for example, part of Arlington is in Mansfield ISD, part of Garland is in Mesquite ISD, and part of Carrollton is in Lewisville ISD.
- Thanks!
