Move to Celes Chere?
[edit]It strikes me that the current, accented title is, essentially, fancruft. We have a note in the article that explicitly states that her name is not written with an accent in the game. At best, it looks like we're second-guessing the developers, at worst, it's just wrong. Thoughts? (also, see Sabin René Figaro, where I've said the same thing) – Seancdaug 04:34, 12 January 2006 (UTC)
Yeah, why not? If this is something that's just fan stuff and the developers have never commented on it, then I don't see why it has any basis being here. Would be interesting if the original creator or person who did replied on the reasoning behind it. Otherwise, I think moving it is a good idea. Agent0042 05:14, 12 January 2006 (UTC)
Seconded. If Square says there's no accents, well, there's no accents then, unless they change their mind or something. =) --wwwwolf (barks/growls) 20:18, 12 January 2006 (UTC)
- It looks like it's been changed. I guess we can remove the request tag then? Agent0042 04:00, 17 January 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah. Sorry, I should've gotten that sooner. – Seancdaug 05:04, 17 January 2006 (UTC)
Locke?
[edit]Should there be a section about Celes' relationship with Locke in this article? I know enough about FF6 to know that the two interact significantly (though there is not an overt romance), but not enough to actually create the section on it. Any other thoughts?
Name
[edit]I always thought that Celes' name derived from 'celestial' meaning from the heavens, sort of as a foil to the name Terra which means 'Earth.' But I suppose since Terra's name in the original Japanese is Tina, that sort of throws that theory out the window.
Dave.
Double Re-direct
[edit]There was a double redirect from Celes to this one, and then to the merge site. I fixed it, but feel free to correct if you feel so inclined? Alcemáe T • C 04:37, 16 May 2007 (UTC)

This looks pretty good from a glance. A few quick things to note:
- Destructoid, GamesRadar+, The Escapist and Kotaku should be italicized.
- Robert Boyd leads to a DAB page, so that needs to be corrected.
- Shmupulations is missing the "S" in ref 2
- I don't know if Behind the Voice Actors is reliable. Plus the website name should be Behind The Voice Actors, and not behindthevoiceactors.com
Other than that, this seems quite good. I'll give it a thorough read soon and see if I find anything else. Namcokid47 (talk) 01:52, 22 September 2019 (UTC)
Fixed all issues listed thus far. - Bryn (talk) (contributions) 22:19, 22 September 2019 (UTC)
- Abryn Sorry, I completely forgot about this for a while. Not really seeing anything else wrong with this, so I'll pass this. Namcokid47 (Contribs) 21:46, 16 October 2019 (UTC)
