Lost Colony?
[edit]I just wanted to know who contributed the notes on Cedar Island here? Where did you get your information from pertaining to Cedar Island being "arguably the true location of the Lost Colony?" I assume that you mean the location where the colonists from Roanoke went and the reason that John White could not find them later.
I read somewhere that supposedly Wanchese was asctually a Coree Indian from Craney [Harker's] Island... (see http://www.harkersisland.com/history.htm) ... The Coree were also on Cedar Island... which is one of the reason I am wondering about this reference (are there sources for this information? I am currently researching my own Coree Indian heritage and whatever information you have may help in my research...
Anyone who knows anything about this can email me, please! carlonrobbins@yahoo.com -- Please write "Lost Colony at Cedar Island" in the subject line.
