Origin of name?

I lived in Castle Valley for several years and we always called it Castle Rock. We thought the valley was named after the rock.

If anyone knows why the rock is named Castleton please add it to the article. Thanks. 72.208.148.85 (talk) 11:59, 3 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
