Neutrality

[edit]

This show is no doubt very good and very important; however, such gems as

"In a continent of 53 countries and thousands of cultures and languages, it is vital that there is a unifying force."
"With live web chats, interactive guides, polls and discussion forums, viewers are brought closer to the stories that affect them."

the article gets a little mushy and opinionated. --Lionelbrits 04:28, 22 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed, I've trimmed a lot of the mushy stuff. It's a single-editor article and I've put {{fact}} tags next to a number of statements that need citations. These are mostly about awards, stats and viewership. The awards should be easy to cite, and hopefully there's a source for viewership figures. Some of the stats might be available on a brag page on the Carte Blanche website and if not, they shouldn't be published here. I'm not sure if all the stats are notable either. Survey - in support of the move

[edit]
  1. Support. Seems logical, especially with several uses for this spelling. Vegaswikian 02:13, 8 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  2. Support. To most people "Carte Blanche" means "carte blanche". Anthony Appleyard 15:12, 9 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This article has been renamed from Carte Blanche to Carte Blanche (TV series) as the result of a move request. --Stemonitis 18:42, 9 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Inline References?

[edit]

Any specific reason why all the references are inline, and not using the standard [1] format? I was tempted to change them all, but wasn't sure if there was a specific reason the original editors didn't go with that format. --GrahamDo (talk) 14:41, 29 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
