Per the 2/18 AfD, I have attempted to remove some of the trivia and repeated information and the rearrange the article into a more encyclopedic form. I think I've been partially successful. For example, removed repeated birth dates and some student activities ("girls in the bathroom", writing, etc). Also removed comments from trade publications, which are not conventional for "solid" WP articles (they are usually a sign that the authoring editors are straining to show notability), as well as text at the end of the article that had a very obvious PROMO nature regarding her other, less known and new books. There are still sufficient references, but the problem with an article like this is that it still has a "laundry list" feel, being full of relatively secondary aspects about her life that aren't really related to her notability (like competitive swimming and such). I realize that these details are sourced, but, like so many WP articles appearing in the last few years they're sort of "human interest" rather than "encyclopedic content". This could actually be stubbed. As far as notability, I think it passes, but it is certainly borderline. Eating disorder / weight issues is a huge genre and holdings of her books aren't really too impressive in this area (e.g. her My Name is Caroline at ~400 holdings vs Anderson's Wintergirls at ~4000 holdings.
