Date of birth
[edit]According to some sources Littleton was born in 1942 (Turner Classic Movies Bio, etc.). According to her University she made her BA in 1965 and her MA in 1970. She also traveled as a student to Europe in 1963. Did she really started her studies with 15 years? When this article was created 14 years ago, the dob 1948 was not really sourced. Could it be that it spread from here all over the web? Best, --NiTen (talk) 10:52, 8 January 2021 (UTC)
- 1948 is definitely wrong. See the sources in the book A Family Portrait by her sister Betty Littleton. On page 275 there is is a picture of her from 1943 (approx. 1 year old), on page 278 there is a family picture from Christmas 1944 (approx 2 years old). On page 295 her sister mentions that Carol and her husband met on the steps of Palazzo Pitti "when they both were 21". Her husband John Bailey was born in 1942 and traveled Europe in 1962/63, as did Carol. So I will change the year of birth to "approx. 1942". Best, --NiTen (talk) 12:57, 12 January 2021 (UTC)
- I have now included the exact birth date from the Academy database. --Sprachraum (talk) 02:30, 29 January 2021 (UTC)
