Genealogy

[edit]

This articles gives (without sources) the father of Karanos as being Temenos. However, this source [1] says he is the brother of the tyrant Pheidon, in turn according to [2] the son of Aristodamidas. This version is consistent with the lineage as provided on de:Karanos (König).

Therefore it seems the line should be:

  • Temenos
  • Keisos
  • Maron
  • Thestros
  • Merops or Akoos
  • Aristodamidas
  • Karanos

If there are different versions of the exact lineage in the sources, then that needs to be stated and the current version must be sourced properly. Travelbird (talk) 10:04, 10 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
