This is interesting, from the AJC article cited August 28, 1994:
SHE'S NOT SMILING NOW: Georgian Candace Brown, a former Miss Alabama USA, is upset about a Newsweek photograph of her and three other smiling Hawaiian Tropic models gathered around a beaming O.J. Simpson. The caption under the photo in a story on Simpson's freewheeling lifestyle read: "Party Guy. The pitchman was also a high liver, who sources said took drugs and joined in random sex." She is unidentified in the photo, but Brown maintains that it puts her character on the line and even called last week to complain on "Larry King Live."
