[edit]I removed the following sentences from the History section because they are almost incomprehensible. If someone cares to rewrite this section, it can be put back into the History section.
- Takes back in late 1940's as a white school, Edison High School ,even has a basketball gym ,baseball field ,and even not has a football field, while consolidation of Calhoun County Schools in late 1950's ,students from Morgan and Leary . was basketball coach of Edison High School is J.W. Flowers . although in Late 1963 while built a new school, students from Arlington .to became Calhoun County High School is located in Edison .H.T . Singleton School was Built a Black Students ,the schoool is named after a Edison resident, Rev. Henry Tucker Singleton (1885 -1938) was a mayor of Edison and School Superintendent of Calhoun County continuously for seventeen years.While in late 1970's built a new Football Field ,after H.T. Singleton School was consolidated into Calhoun County Schools. while when consolidation of Middle and High Schools ,to became Calhoun County Middle- High School .Calhoun County Elemntary School in Arlington.
